The Xylem Flow Mix is simply one of the best pieces of music your ears will ever hear. I want to climb inside it and take a long bath. "Exquisite" doesn't come close.

So this album is basically a modern interpretation of Holst's 'The Planets', surely? It even samples it on Uranus (I think!) https://www.discogs.com/Holst-London-Symphony-Orchestra-The-Planets/release/8765095

I'm not convinced this record exists. I was a St. Etienne obsessive in this era and worked for HMV and also knew the label's distributor, Pinnacle, well. A promo exists with a blue sleeve (see separate entry) but I have never seen a commercially released ... See full review

Ah, Pat Hurley. Was mesmerised when I first saw/heard him DJ at the Pleasure Rooms in Camberwell, South London around 98/99. Green One was his debut as a producer and what a track! Still never figured out where he sampled the strings from though. A James ... See full review

OMG, no reviews?! Darhma Body is easily one of my favourite tracks of the 90s. Absolutely incredible. The huge swirling reverb towards the end just blow my mind every time. A lost gem. Grab one!

Never has something so blatantly derivative sounded so damn good. Born in 1986 so too young to have experienced the explosion of unprecedented high quality electronica in the early 90s, Daniel has clearly been doing his homework and immersing himself in ... See full review

One of the best records of the past 5 years. I rarely buy new vinyl anymore but had to seek out a copy of this. The Garage Mix morphs into a mad acid stomper half way through! Stunning.

One of the best tracks on here is Alain Maclean "Talking Judgement Day Blues" but the original version on the mixed version is a wistful, folky acoustic thing whilst the version on the unmixed version is a moody, dark, electronic thing (and far superior ... See full review

Take some classics from the +8 vault, rip the heart out of them, replace them with banal, glitchy, smooth, gutless beats and bland fizzes and pops and you get this. Music to send you to sleep. HUGELY disappointing. RIP +8 :-(
