The sample at the beginning of "We're going' deep" ('hello, greetings and welcome') is the slowed down voice of Barrie Leslie Konicov aka The Hypnotist, as immortalised on the stunning track of the same name by Sisterlove:... See full review

Slipping In And Out Of Consciousness is a rare deep cut of a gem. If it had ever got licenced to a chill-out compilation, it would be regarded as a classic.

The brilliant Wubbledub Mix on the 'CARD 2' Swedish/UK promo clocks in at 7.37 - the same as the Canadian and Swedish 2x12" promos. A radically different Wubbledub Mix appears on the UK CD single and Spotify. I can't find this 7.37 mix on You Tube or... See full review

Home of the Whale is a cover of My Donal by Owen Hand but retitled. No idea who's singing it tho. For some reason they've never disclosed but Wikipedia says that it's the co-producer, Caroline Lavelle.

Essential for Love Comes Quickly (Dub Version) as this is the only format it was ever released on and it's a GORGEOUS mix.

Molto Vivace is IMMENSE. You could easily imagine Richie Hawtin opening a set with it. Deep and threatening. Shocked there's no vinyl :-(

Agree entirely. So good to find another advocate for Wishing You Well. It's also one of my favourite pieces of music of all time. I struggle not to well up whenever I hear it. It's actually written into my will to have it played at my funeral.

I used to work for the UK distributor of this and was lucky enough to get an advance copy. Loved it then, love it now. Along with LSG's (Oliver Lieb) Into Deep album in 1999, this is one one of the best chill-out (artist) albums of the 90s imho. Just... See full review

I adore this album. I'd just landed a job with HMV UK the month it came out so I managed to bag a copy of the LP which I now see goes for £80+ FFS! Still baffles me that it includes Richie Hawtin's Spiritual High tho It's a techno banger! WTF??!

[quote=_Wadsy_] This album isn't too bad, actually. This is mainly because of the first CD which featured the early 90's dance hits, whereas the second focuses on the mid-late 90's, leaving the final CD for the 2000's. It is a compilation, and the... See full review
