Vinyl junkee since 1991, lover of all music, especially electronic, following exposure to new wave/romantic/synth-pop from an early age ... hooked on 'house music since '86/7 (skating to the anthems at the local roller discos ☺).
Picking up cassette compilations of house & techno '87-'89 in the local Woolworths, gave way to discovering hardcore on the airwaves in 1990, going to my first parties and the sounds from that time remain close to my heart. A regular follower of Colin Dale & Faver's weekly broadcasts on 100 led to regular trips into the city, to the likes of Knowledge, Eurobeat/Innervision, VFM/Hellrazor/Tottenham/Shoreditch etc. parties and hunting down releases on vinyl on a Saturday afternoon in Unity, FatCat, Pure Groove, Choci's, Zoom etc. - happy days (peace and love to you all).

Lover of the 303 sound, hardcore and all things techno ... always appreciated the sounds of the deep as much as the stomp.

Still looking to pick up some of the old Chicago and NewBeat classics, along with oldskool electro, disco/italo, funk/soul & reggae. Rekindled a taste for D&B around the millenium. Still discovering a ton of amazing tracks missed/forgotten over the last 30 years and interested in rockin' new sounds too ...

Started logging the collection here on Discogs (what an ongoing mission/journey that's turned out to be!)
Peace and/thru good beats ...

B-side label appears to have a subtle difference (possibly deliberate, to distinguish an original from re-issue at a glance, without examining run-outs?) - five-pointed star next to The After Poke Mix on Side 2 (1987 original), six-pointed asterisk on... See full review

you get 4m26s of Machines (sounding pretty close to original 1988 Apocalypse Mix upon first listen) and 3m57s of Problemes ... sounds a bit like a re-edit to me and not a mix i've heard before (has the Ah Oh Ah vocals coming in around 1m45 but with... See full review

Love the vibe of the Urban Mix of Survival. Take "I got something for your mind, your body and your soul", add a pinch of "oh yeah" and some 100hz sub bass, gently mix in some tasty plinky plonk keys, warm strings a dash of Nemesis magic and hey... See full review

You're mistaken there Rich, it did get a mention and rightly so!
So, it's 2 votes each for Silence and Alpha1, 1 for Drive ...

yeah, it's got that nice easy going summer vibe (reminds me of some Oversky releases like Fuser Beat - The Legend, The Anixus - Feel Good/Do The Do from around that time) but also still like the way Deduction (String Mix) gets straight down to business

Air Liquide - Liquide Air E.P. is probably the labels 3rd release but run-outs are stamped BLUE004 - guessing it was easier to skip to BLUE 005 after that.

Yeah, 55 mix is the one - just noticed, when listening to it again today, it samples Aqua Regia's NYC Smile On Me and there's a bit of Tekno Too bass in there as well - essential '91 track!
