Nice collection of some really rare Latin beat, pop, garage and psyche from 70/71

Really? I have a US Presswell first pressing and this has become my go to. I find it really full. Presswell isn't always the best out there. What do you have?

Great band. I used to see them all the time at The Wetlands.

As much as I like Shorty Rogers, it's the other half of this album that shines. It is chock full of rare garage and groovy mid-60s beat. Don't let the cover or the Time Records label fool you, somehow this slipped through with a bunch of acts that... See full review

While this is a fantastic pressing. It is not from the original mono master. It was mastered from a tape taken directly from the original master.

The booklet in the 2014 Mono box has the logs from EMI showing the masters that were made for the 1982... See full review

Exactly. Some labels were just cheap. White label alone does not indicate it's a promo.

Rolling Stone didn't always get their reviews right and there are entire sites dedicated to the absolute worst of their takes. But the review of Friends hits the nail on the head. Even though the music listeners could never quite come around; old fans... See full review

This album is so out there. Driving Latin beat with an exotica/lounge overlay. There's not much like it that I've every heard.

Fantastic pressing. I was skeptical at first because it felt like a RSD gimmick album but it is really well done. Clean and clear. Almost a little too clean. I fell like Little Richard should be loud and scratch and I'm used to the old Specialty hiss,... See full review

Wow. Another AP home run. One of my favorite Beach Boys album. And Kevin Gray gives it the treatment it finally deserves. Not too much bass at all, not sure where that comes from. I mostly listen on a vintage McIntosh and Marantz tube system and this... See full review

A rarity for Japanese pressings. This is pretty poor mastering. Some fake stereo and it sounds really thin and harsh. I should have done my homework before buying. Thankfully I have a red mono '82 on the way to remedy the issue. Skip this and find a... See full review
