Limited edition of 150 hand-numbered copies.
Packaged in a brown, hand printed envelope. The CDr and book come in a hand made balsa wood and western red cedar veneer gatefold box. The cover consists of heavy weight printing paper with hand printed text and images, housed in a hand made vellum slip sleeve.
Recorded between winter 2009 and fall 2010. All sounds improvised from guitar, amp, and effects pedals. The monologue was recorded by Matt Finney and arranged by a death cinematic. The New World text was written and read by Matt Finney. Prelude To The New World text which makes up the track titles was written by a death cinematic.
Included the book "Prelude To The New World". This is a small format hand made version of a previously released very limited larger book of the same title (SBC - 013). All the pages were scored, folded and cut by hand, printed on bright white paper and stitched together. The horse stamp was drawn and designed by simple box construction and is based on a drawing entitled Thou Art The Hopes Slain By The Hands Of Our Enterprise. Each page in the book was hand stamped. The stamping process ultimately destroyed the stamp as with each page the stamp was altered and cut away. Each book is hand-bound in acid free brown charcoal paper and black linen tape. All the covers were also hand cut and stamped.

“The New World” is a melancholic album which consists of 6 sentimental compositions. Released as limited edition of 150 hand-made CD copies by Simple Box Construction. Also included “Prelude to The New World” book enriched this release with the industrial, blurred type photographies. “The New World” poem is written and read by the Matt Finney. Associated to rock, electronic music genres album reveals wider spectre of consonances can be heard: obscure textures of apocalyptic drone, ambient and post/doom rock fragments. The basis of compositions stands on distorted electric guitar recordings and fuzzy atmospheres sensibly generated from the guitar amplifiers, effect devices. Artist’s compositions are exceptionally dense, roomy and emotionally active. On any given track he knows when to reject, restrict or transform sound elements before they grow dull or tiresome. Progressively changing the course of sounding trajectory helps artist explore new sonic terrains. To create a rich wholeness the artist use blending numerous guitar melodies layers with some sonorous ambience textures. High-quality one man band concert that evokes proximity feeling to even different educated listeners.
