Reviews
- Never cared much for Ann Murray's laconic style but her version of You Won't See Me is great.
She ups the energy level and the arrangement is fabulous. - Anne Murray is the perfect sentiment to the 70s being the peak decade for female artists, nice use of the piano on this record too.
- Edited 4 years agoThis is probably Anne Murrays most soulful album thanks to some very strong song choices (among them "Just One Look", "Son of a Rotten Gambler" and of course the hit title song and the Beatles cover "You Won't See Me"). The powerful backup by Dianne Brooks, Lee Harris and Laurel Ward is on point and gives the album some wonderful harmony. Excellent entry in Murrays catalogue.
