I've always found it strange that Jamie didn't receive a writing credit on this record. The track is clearly built around his bassline. He mentioned as much in an interview with Music Radar in 2018. However, he didn't address the issue of being left out on the composition front!

You have to credit Beggars Banquet: they really produced some excellent quality pressings. I've owned this since early 85 and it has been played many times. Recently gave it a spin in the ultrasonic cleaner and am archiving a recording for posterity. There is next to no noise on this disc, the music takes full advantage of the available headroom and displays brilliant dynamics. Of course, credit to the band, producer, engineers and mixers but hats off to the mastering engineer and those that pressed it.

Similar is true of other BB records from this era but this one beats them all IMHO.
