- Edited 9 months agoFantastic old school Japanese EBM/New Beat group. It doesn’t get much more obscure than this folks. DRP were a blip on the map with one excellent album on new beat label Body Records before fading into the ether. Peace Offensive is their final record, recorded immediately after their first but shelved indefinitely until Daft Records remastered and released this, an extremely limited edition CD of 300. I’m glad I tracked this down as it’s even better than their first record with a lot more moods, tempos, and variety of sounds. Criminally underrated band that ticks all the boxes for fans of EBM and heavy dark beats and vocals in general. The only way you’ll ever hear them is to buy the physical releases which are fast disappearing. They’re not on ANY streaming platforms. That just makes DRP all the more special.
