Reviews
- Very happy that this album had another release. Eric Carr was a very talented man that deserved to have his own solo album. While the recordings are not perfect and sometimes not studio quality, it is still wonderful to hear what Eric had to offer.
- Cool album and concept for the release. Not sure why people are expecting audiophile quality. This album was never polished but considering what they had available sounds pretty good given a good stereo set up. Definitely a must have for any Kiss fan.
- For what it’s worth, the track listing is correct on the jacket, but incorrect (at times) if your CD player displays the song titles. No biggie.
- Really great collector's item for every KISS fan. With 2 coloured translucent vinyl, good guality cover and inside sleeves and KISS solo albums style poster. The music itself is nice to listen but nothing outstanding.
- I was able to get the last one on RSD, only 45 Euros so not
too expensive. It is what it is, it's a nice collectable to look at
and the sound is decent, but it could have been better, sound wise.
Still, i never had it on vinyl and while i don't have 8 of everything like many
crazy kiss fans, i did want this one so i bought it. The original cd sounds better
though. - Let’s face it, you are not buying this to listen to it, it was already available. You are buying this because you are a Kiss fan. This is a cool item, nice looking vinyl times 2, great little homage poster. Very cool job! Does it sound great? No. EC’s been gone 32 years now. Some stuff came from cassette recordings for goodness sake.
- One of those LPs that looks fantastic on your turntable but sounds terrible coming out of your speakers. Songs are not bad but the pressing is just lifeless.
- Being a big fan of KISS (anything without Thayer and Singer), I am surprised I had never listened to this album before. Man am I glad I didn’t pay these aftermarket ridiculous prices. The vinyl records are beautiful, but the sound is worse than a CD, more like a mediocre 80’s home-recorded cassette. And the music itself is not bad but it’s not that great either, I think it’s on par with Peter Criss’s solo album (hey, impossible not to compare them), some great songs, some suck. The style is more like Journey’s or Reo Speed Wagon’s sound.
