Reviews
- Man, 25 years later and this set STILL kicks some serious ass!
Aside from the lopsided production quality inherently due to the variety of recording mediums used at the time, they did a really good job cleaning it up! The WFBE sessions especially sound a lot clearer than the tapes we passed around back in the day. WOW! The booklet is kinda cool too, loaded with old posters and pictures. Look at them kids, HA!
Hey, these guys join links in the underground 80's black metal royalty chain of Venom (8), Slayer, & Possessed. This album is a testament as to why Repulsion impacted Flint, and more so the world with their "savage headbanging with a melodic punch." Forging the chain, moving another generation forward.
Essential listening for anyone seriously interested in the genre. nuff said!
