The original mix is very special, and stands out in the history of rave music at a time when things were beginning to get hard and dark. These remixes take it to another level.
The first GTO mix is long, hypnotic, cavernous. It’s hard throughout though. The Westbam Mix is the most subdued of the three, but still sinister and twisted, with the 303 prominent.
My favourite here is GTO Mix 2, which seems to distill the track to its strongest elements and is the punchiest of them.

I dug this out tonight and gave it a play. Both sides are top class. When this was new in 91 it was the absolute bollocks.

So I'm surprised that this doesn't have a higher rating - currently all releases have 41 1-star ratings - which really surprised me...so I looked into the info and guess what, the 41 are pretty much from the same 2 or 3 people across releases. Systematic abuse? Or do they dislike these tunes so much to seek out all the releases and submit these negative views?

I have been tempted in the past to "sabotage" the ratings on releases that these and their kind have rated highly but then I don't want to be a prick.

I've also raised this with Discogs some time ago and they weren't in slightest bit arsed - "everyone is entitled to their view" - even if it is sytematic (algo?) or spiteful/malicious.

Anyway, as I said the 2 original tunes are pure class.

The Remix of This House Is Mine makes a complete monster of a tune become even more monsterous - it's got everything. Pure unadulterated excitement.

This record is awesome, all mixes are top notch underground stormers. Super powerful, too damn awesome to be rated so low and selling for less than a KFC 3 piece combo.

Anybody else have this white label but unstamped? it must be a real rarity?

The version of Rainbows In The Sky on this is not the original but an edited version of the Natural High mix.
