https://www.vpreggae.com/ - Edited 3 years agoOn the Joe Gibbs Record Globe pressing Universal Dub Is repeated as Midnight Movie and Track 6 - Lovers Serenade is "missing"...but can be found on the Rocky One pressing along with different versions of African Dub, Treasure Dub, Half Ounce and East Africa.
- my final post re: this LP. the unofficial copy was advertised in November's 1974 Black Music monthly mag.the seller being:Creole Records (mail order dept.)4 Bank Buildings,High Street,Harlesden,London NW10.The cost,£2.75,plus 20 pence postage.
- Just a quick update to the previous review. The unofficial version was advertised in Black Music magazine and NOT Echoes weekly,as they were not established until 1976....sorry for the mistake.
- bought this Jamaican import in the U.K. in June 1974.It has a horn section on Half Ounce, there was also an unofficial pressing, but without the horns on the aforementioned track. It came in a plain white disco sleeve. The latter was advertised in Black Echoes(now Echoes)and it sold for half the price of the JA. import.
- PROBABLY MY VERY FIRST DUB ALBUM...BOUGHT THIS WITH MY SCHOOL DINNER MONEY....I REMEMBER BEING VERY HUNGRY THAT DAY..LOL!!!!!
