"I Like Giants" was inspired by a nice talk with Genevieve Elverum about one of her songs. "The Competition" was originally written for Esopus Magazine #4 Imaginary Friends compilation, loosely based on a story by Mia Gomez. The melody and the last verse of "France" are from the song "Sheer Wonder" by David-Ivar Herman Düne and the song is mostly about what a good friend, musician, and dancer he is. "12/26": Me and M.J. talked a lot about feeling helpless after the tsunami and decided to write a song about how we felt. On "My Rollercoaster" I sing bits of some of my favorite songs to sing along to on the radio in my car: "On the Road Again"-Willie Nelson, "From a Distance"-Nanci Griffith, "One"-Metallica, "Semi Charmed Life"-Third Eye Blind, "I'll Be (Your Crying Shoulder)"-Edwin McCain, "Life is a Highway"-Tom Cochran, "Every Day is a Winding Road"-Sheryl Crow
"If humans could have one super power, what would it be? I have finally decided that it would be the power to see things from another's perspective. You could be in a war and hear the enemy's mind praying to make it home safe. There wouldn't be as many wars."--Hallie Geier http://www.lovehallie.org

Reviews
- Kimya has said that legal action was taken against her from one of the bands covered in the conclusion of "My Rollercoaster" (but did not say who it was (though said it was not Metallica)). With the album OoP and that song being no longer available on iTunes I would think this album will either A. Never be reissued or B. be reissued but not with its original tracklist.
