Just picked this up new and sealed. Sounds fantastic. Not getting the pops and clicks other have experienced. Have to say, often times those are due to static, or even cleaning..and cleaning can cause static. Would love to see the first album released. Artwork and insert very good also. No complaints. If you are considering, go for it!referencing Trysome Eatone (CD, Album) 9 46560-2

A lot of these Real Gone Music reissues have been kind of iffy. They're putting out great titles of a lot of albums that have never even been on vinyl before, but the one's I have had in my collection (Spacehog, Masters of Reality, Donna Lewis, Soul Asylum for example) have not been significantly better than original CDs. The Soul Asylum release did not stand up to the original vinyl release at all to my ears. They all kind of have the same sound as well, which feels like they're lacking some dynamic range and missing a little punch. Not horrible but just missing some life. Pressings have all been good to average. I have to think CDs are the source to press these. They’re usually that close to the sound with a little more of that warmth from the vinyl playback.
I enjoy adding the releases to my collection but they're not going to blow your mind. referencing Trysome Eatone (LP, Album, Record Store Day, Limited Edition, Reissue, White With Black Swirl) RGM-1216
In my opinion the mastering is better than a cd but not by much, which is sadly becoming the norm more and more these days. It came out as a 9 on the dynamic range meter.
The pressing quality is also below average. I ended up with two copies and both have more pops and clicks than normal for a new record in my opinion.
Still definitely worth getting if you like the album. I’m happy with it. It’s more of a sad commentary on the current state of vinyl.referencing Trysome Eatone (LP, Album, Record Store Day, Limited Edition, Reissue, White With Black Swirl) RGM-1216
Great mastering, fantastic sound. ALBUM COVER is printed in high quality with high resolution. Smokey vinyl looks great. My favorite buy from RSD.
Well worth the buy even at the 40 € you had to pay in Europe.referencing Trysome Eatone (LP, Album, Record Store Day, Limited Edition, Reissue, White With Black Swirl) RGM-1216
Sounds fantastic, I really love this album and may be biased.
I firmly believe that the Richards (Butler and Fortus) have done some sweetening on this whilst working on the new Furs album.
It’s not white though. I’d call it cloudy with black swirl.referencing Trysome Eatone (LP, Album, Record Store Day, Limited Edition, Reissue, White With Black Swirl) RGM-1216
I'm the minority on this topic but I actually prefer Trysome Eatone over the debut album. I can't even begin to say how happy I am that this is released to vinyl. However, there is nothing here that warranted the $29.99 price tag. No gatefold, downloads, or anything else special besides the color. Why $30?
The pressing is fantastic. I have several albums now from Real Gone Music and they've earned a great reputation with me. Every album I purchased by Real Gone Music is excellent pressing quality. No audible noise and flat. Just perfect.
The mastering for this album is good. I always purchase vinyl records with the intent of a better listening experience than streaming. I'm spinning this right now for the first time and I'm not getting a better listening experience. It sounds great but probably not much different than a digital stream.
It's a 5 star for me because it's a phenomenal album, sounds great and is pressed very well. I wish the price was cheaper (or package better) but I'm very pleased to add this to my collection.referencing Trysome Eatone (LP, Album, Record Store Day, Limited Edition, Reissue, White With Black Swirl) RGM-1216
I hope the debut album gets a proper vinyl release as well.referencing Trysome Eatone (CD, Album) 9 46560-2
This is finally getting a vinyl release for Record Store Day on 12 June 2021!referencing Trysome Eatone (CD, Album) 9 46560-2
Fantastic album in my opinion, the first five tracks are stunning, up there with Psychedelic Furs best tunes.
Still waiting/hoping for a vinyl reissue....
