Bicknell gets his tribal groove thang on here for his Lost remix. It's very simple and subtle what Bicknell brings to his productions from this period, but they're never less than hypnotic groovers aimed at the dancefloor.
What I really love on this EP though is Stomp which I first heard on Dave Angel's 39 Flavours of Tech Funk mix.
The slight echo on that cowbell-like percussion from the debut is ace and those weird almost vocal/brass like stabs throughout give the listener a chance to "sing" along! Of course in typical Slater fashion its all about the build up as Slater weaves various synth chords and stabs throughout the Disco-driven rhythms.
