Xerox on cover is of Carl Panzram - thanks to 8Eightcoins8 for messaging me that - B3 samples ""Eric B. & Rakim - I Know you Got Soul" for the lyrics and "Jean-Michel Jarre - Ethnicolor" for the intro"
via youtube comment by rSyk - Edited 3 years ago'Intellectual Killer' samples 'Kev Bird & The Wax Doctor – Airspace' and 'Gravediggaz – Nowhere To Run, Nowhere To Hide'. 'Intellectual Killer' was also repressed on 'Various – Technohead 4 - Sound Wars The Next Generation (REACT LP 098)' and also recently on 'Helena Hauff – Kern Vol.5 (KERN005LP)'

is there any information about how many 'Test Pressings' of this EP have been produced? Seems like quite a bit based on the number of people adding this to their collections- I pay this good vinyl (intellectual killer is a bomb of balanced sounds) 10€ 4 year ago..make yourself questions......

My copy has no writing but does have the sticker.- Mark Newlands was never ripped off by Storm. The P&D distributor ripped the label off for all the profit on the vinyl - no money. Mark got his share of the royalties from CD sales from Jackhammer at Nosebleed. As much as I respect Mark Newlands' talent he has exaggerated and misinformed people about the demise of Storm. Jackhammer left the music scene for a while.
- Edited 11 years agoThis "Sophomore" outing of the more widely available Nasenbluten records offered a glimpse of things that were to come.
Hardcore was in a complete drought and the Dutch had gone completely happy/powercore.
This record makes a screw that type of statement and is dark and hard, full of breakbeats and most importantly creativity.
One of the few gems during the horrible late 94/early 95 era of Hardcore Techno.
5/5 enough said.
