- An album as bonkers as the weirdly chosen cover photo would seem to imply (Adam West does not look his best imo 😊), this is a collection of dialogue excerpts from the TV show, interspersed with music, a significant portion of which seem to be simple variations on the famous theme tune. Most of the dialogue is from only a couple of episodes, leading me to suspect that this was a quickly rushed-out cash-in on the success of the TV show.
The theme tune itself sounds amazing, and its in stereo too! This is the first time I have heard the full-length version, complete with its curious 'lounge jazz' sounding sax solo middle section. Most of the rest of the music is fairly forgettable, library-music style 60s TV soundtrack stuff.
The whole thing is quite an easy fun listen (particularly given the ludicrously short running time, side 1 clocks in at a whole 10 minutes long!) and has a splendidly fun and cheesy 60s vibe about it (just like the TV show 😁) referencing Batman (Exclusive Original Television Soundtrack Album) (LP, Album, Misprint, Repress, Stereo) BATMN 1
POSSIBLE MISPRINT runout SIDE A stamped BATMN 1 A - 1J-1-1- BUYERS BEWARE! THIS IS A COUNTERFEIT! this is NOT an EMI press! the matrix is not stamped. it's handwritten and reads WDF003. also the cover is a laser copy!

Track #3: “Batus! -A-Go! Go! ...” should be “Batusi A-Go! Go! ...”- This album is fantastic. It contains the groovy soundtrack to the 1960s Tv series along with some excellent dialogue from the show... sometimes even together. All in all, this is a great listen. Highly recommended.
