One of the best and most classic disco records ever made. If you don't own this and Boney M's "Nightflight to Venus" then your record collection is incomplete!

One of the few cd issues where you can get the full 16 min + version of the title song.

A pleasing and thumping listen to be sure, although it does sound a bit congested when there is a lot going on and it struggles with separation. Also the mid channel trumpets and vocals feel a bit too recessed for my liking only at times, like when it gets busy.
Will try to hunt down more cuts to compare with.

The entire A-side of this album is so dope. It's a 16-minute epic with orchestral flairs that are most righteous. The B-side is just okay, though anything would be in comparison.

This is a classic ! Takes Eric Burdon's famous late 60ies song into a club and it works , i remember many a nights dancing to this very long and exstatic tune . It only works in a club , though . When i listened to it at home i didn't enjoy it . But at that time it was a real favourite of a lot of discos and worked wonders on the dancefloors..
