William Souffreau

William Souffreau was a Belgian guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and producer from Erembodegem (14 April 1946 - 6 April 2023), considered one of Belgium's pioneers of rock music.

His first band in the early '60s was called The Blue Jets, for whom he wrote his first song "Feel So Lonely", which wouldn't be recorded until 2003 with Blink It. This was followed by The Mings.He first recorded with The Four Rockets (2) in 1966, a band that eventually evolved to the more psychedelic group Dementia Praecox. In 1970 he founded The Voodoo which eventually became hard rock group Irish Coffee (2), his most successful band. In 1978 he founded Joystick with Tony Boast and in the eighties played with the cover band Oh Boy! After going solo in 1990 and later forming the rockabilly band Blink It, he re-established Irish Coffee.

He is the father of Alison Souffreau.
