Michael Minsky

Michael Minsky (1918-1988) was a baritone singer, who in his early years in post-WW2 Europe sang with the Don Cossack Choir. Later he sang with the Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus in Germany, which then emigrated to the United States. Taking US citzenship Minsky sang at hundreds of performences for the Ukrainian communities in the US and Canada, as well as in Europe, recording a number of LPs. In the 1960s he sang with the Black Sea Cossack Choir and then again with the Don Cossack Choir. In his later years he lived in the Netherlands.
