Jan Křtitel Sýkora

Czech music journalist, later dramatic advisor at film studios Barrandov, screenwriter for Czech television, film post-production/dubbing producer.
Born 14 May 1949 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia), died 20 May 2003 in Prague.
One of the pioneering Czech rock music journalists of the late 1960s, he is best rememberd as the author of the book “Czechoslovak Beat Music 67” (Panton 1968) as well as numerous articles in Czech music magazines of that era.
