Real Name:Fernand Fonteyn
Profile:

b.: 1918 (Ermelot, Belgium)

Belgian (jazz and classical) bass player, composer, arranger, and singer. His brother José Fontaine encouraged him to pursue a musical career, and he discovered jazz in the 1930's.
He is mostly known to have been the bass player in the orchestra of Gene Dersin. During WW II, he also recorded some acetates under his name, as a singer and a bass player.
After the war, he began to write and arrange songs for artists in Belgium and France.

At the end of his career, he turned entirely to classical music (a genre he liked during his whole career).
