Häkan Finn

Häkan Finn was born in 1978 and started producing music in the 00's. He was inspired by the music by: Farben, snd, and the other minimal and German sounds emanating from labels such as: Force, Kompakt, Mille Plateaux, ~scape, Perlon, Trapez etc. The aim originally was to produce house music, but all the early attempts ended up being something all together different. The realisation was that the actual sampling process was more significant than the end-result. That may be the reason that Häkan Finn defines himself as not a producer, but a maker of music collages. Visuals are equally important and consequently the artwork and videos are shown equal interest.
