Canker Bit Jesus

Canker Bit Jesus was a Portuguese alternative metal band from Leiria, formed in 1997 by Fernando Silva on vocals and guitar, Sérgio "Phantas" on bass and Miguel on drums, the trio of musicians had previously played together in the death metal band Exomortis, in 1998 the group recruited Marciano as their vocalist, it is with this line-up that they release their first EP tiled "Techno Vibrations", released in 1998, in the following year the group recorded two demos, "Prozac" and "Diabolik", only in 2003 the group released their 2nd EP titled "C.B.J", with a new drummer Ricardo Simões, but he does not stay long and Miguel returns to the fold, in 2005 they shorten their name to Canker, Sérgio leaves the group in 2007 and is replaced by Nuno Gomes, in 2008 they released their album titled "Interactivist", the group disbanded in 2010.
