LIA, based in “Techno-City” Berlin, is a further proof that women behind the turntables are not just something to look at – they can also bring a party to ecstasy.

LIA grew up in the nightlife. Her father owned many discotheques, so she is shaped by the age of techno, the emergence of the Love Parade, the development of electronic dance music. Thus, her sensitivity for driving electronic music was literally in the cradle. LIA identified herself with deep drifting, but upbeating Housemusic. Whether it was the impressive record collection of her father or the love of 90s house music of her mother - nowadays, she plays in well-known Clubs like the WEEKEND,TRESOR or SUICIDE CIRCUS in Berlin, MIKRO Club in Jena, Bootshaus in Cologne or at WEIDENDAMM, which is in her birthplace Hanover.

2012, she not only began with the production of her own music, she also published her first track "Boy" (Release 2013) and created a new live act with singer elèn (elèn & lia / "Verliebt sein" EP - release 2013).

In the end of November 2012, she worked together with her DJ-colleague Re.You for his "Insanity" EP (released on Souvenir).
