Swedish opera singer (soprano), born June 5, 1976 in Ukraine.

She grew up in Russia. After studying at the Royal Academy of Music and the Opera Academy in Stockholm, she made her debut as a Musetta in La Boheme Puccini at the Finnish National Opera.

At the Royal Opera in Stockholm, she has sung a dozen main roles such as Mimi in Puccini's La Bohème, Rosina in Rossini's The Barber in Seville and Tatjana in Tchaikovsky's Eugen Onegin. At Malmö Opera, she performed Margareta in Gounod's Faust, Tatjana and Musetta.

Fontosh has also performed on opera stages in the rest of Europe and Russia, including the French National Opera and the Lisbon Opera (Antonia); at the Frankfurt Opera, she has performed Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte and The Countess in Figaro's wedding, all by Mozart.
