Cuban entrepreneur and founder of the label Puchito. He was born on April 12th, 1921 in Havana, Cuba and died on August 16th, 2006 in Miami, Florida. He had been a representative of RCA Victor, selling records from a separate counter at his father's hardware store, La Estrella. Eventually, the store became known as Gorís Shop. He went on to found his own label Puchito in 1954. He had great success, recording local Cuban artists.He is credited with helping launch the recording career of Olga Guillot and the rebirth of Abelardo Barroso.
When Goris went into exile, the label was relocated to Miami along with him.
