Katy Woolley

British French horn player and professor. Born in Exeter, England, UK.
She studied at the Royal College of Music, London. She served as Principal Horn in the European Union Youth Orchestra for two years and undertook further study at the Universität Der Künste Berlin. She was appointed Principal Horn of the Philharmonia Orchestra at age 22, playing with the orchestra for seven years. In 2019, she became Principal Horn of the Concertgebouworkest in Amsterdam. Professor of French Horn at both the Royal Academy of Music and the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
