Mija Folkesson

Swedish singer, songwriter, choir arranger and musician, born on December 18, 1962 in Pålsboda.

Mija Folkesson has created the music for Bolibompa's short films Mona and Mastiff, Räkna med skägg, Stava med skägg, Mäta med skägg and Värsta bråket. She has also composed the music for Pino - animated short films and cinema films for young children. Stava med skägg won Grammis 2011 in the category best children's album with music by Mija Folkesson and lyrics by David Shutrick.

In 2012 and 2013, Mija Folkesson composed music for Minimello and in 2013 two songs for the film Hokus pokus Alfons Åberg. She has written the music for the musical Skaka galler at Stadsteatern 2014.
