Brazilian singer. Maria Augusta lives in a musical environment, right from the start, to the privilege of watching real jam sessions at her home, with famous people today: Ivan Lins, Egberto Gismonti, Helio Delmiro, Gonzaguinha and many others. Carioca, Maria Augusta lived in Brasilia for 15 years. It starts in music, participating in parties and performing in night clubs.
After a year of doing research and studying in New York, at New York University, she returned to Brazil as a result of a deep interest in American music, especially Jazz, as she has always flown.
