The B.H.H.

"B.H.H." stands for "Bulgarian Hip Hop" and is a project produced by German synthpop group "Bamboo Industry" in coorperation with the "Choir RTB" from Sofia and the "Smolyan Folk Ensemble" which are both parts of the Bulgarian State Radio & Television Female Vocal Choir better known as "Le Mystère Des Voix Bulgares".

The original version of the track "Bulgarian Hip Hop" appeared first on the "Shake Your Seoul (Kunst-Disco Seoul 1988)"-compilation under the name of "Bamboo Industry" only.

Their track had been discovered by WestBam who has remixed it and placed it on his 1st "Teutonic Beats"-compilation and made the track one of the key tracks of the whole "Teutonic Beats"-genre - a musical style that is often called "The German New Beat".

The track itself is based on the Bulgarian traditional "Erghen Diado (Song Of Schopsko)" which also appears on the 1st album of "Le Mystère Des Voix Bulgares".

On the sleeve and labels of this release the main artist appears as "The B.H.H. with Ardath Bey". Ardath Bey is one of the two caracters that Boris Karloff played in 1932 in the classical movie "The Mummy". By now it is unclear who stands behind this alias.
