Swedish drummer, born July 9, 1952 in Gothenburg, is a Swedish drummer. He grew up in Gothenburg and has worked as a full-time musician since 1973.
Anders Kjellberg has collaborated with pianists such as Lars Jansson and Bobo Stenson and artists such as Rigmor Gustafsson, Monica Zetterlund and Jeanette Lindström.
He has been a musician in a long line of bands such as Radiojazzgruppen, Rena Rama, Bohuslän Big Band and Jazz Baltica Ensemble. Other bands he played in are for example New Creation, Vatten, Änglaspel, Mount Everest, Soffgruppen and Lars Jansson trio.
He has also performed internationally with musicians such as Dewey Redman, Don Cherry and Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen. He has toured in the United States, Japan, Canada and South America.
He was awarded the Jazz Association in Alingsås Drummer Prize in 2008.
