Dj Anoebis is a known name in the old/new school goa scene. He is a dj, party organiser and one of the label managers of Suntrip Records & Classic Goa Trax

Anoebis is a goa-trance addicted international dj, playing this kind of music as much as possible for people that love to dance hard and float around on old school classic & modern goa-trance! :) He also plays ambient once in a while and melodic forest trance under his alter ego “Skeleton Hex”. Lately he also started to play more and more ecstatic dance sets. Besides that he (and Mars) are also the managers of Suntrip Records and Classic Goa Trax! :)

The story of Anoebis starts in 1998. In that year he discovered goa-trance. Immediately he was SO convinced of that music that he bought all the cds he could buy! Pretty soon he had 200 cds which resulted in a first dj-set during new year 2000. Around that period he didn’t dj alone. Mostly he played together with a friend called Dave (dj name Paprika) and together they were called PaprikanoebiS. Because Dave was too busy with his studies he started to play alone since 2001 and before he realised he was playing more or less every weekend.

The first years of the new millennium were hard. Around that period he was one of the last djs playing “melodic goa trance”, the old school style. Because he loved that style so much and it seemed more or less dead, he and a good friend (Mars/Fabien) decided to start their own music label called Suntrip Records. Not much later melodic goa-trance started to revive in Belgium and some other countries in the world, and this resulted in many parties with only “old /newschool goa-trance” :) This meant little sleep for him, but lots of joy! And for some obscure reasons his love for melodic goa trance continues until today!

Since 2010 his career exploded more internationally… he played in Israel, Japan, Brasil and more or less every country in Europe! Also, he played on many big festivals such as: Boom Festival, Psy Fi, Lost Theory Festival, ZNA Festival, Universo Parallello, SUN Festival, Apsara, Samsara, Space Safari, Freedom Festival,...
