Hernan is one of the most musically adept and mature dj's I have heard. He chooses tracks which are so compelling and unique that it is difficult for me to take many other dj's seriously. He developes this festering sound and then lets it eat at you until you begin to enjoy it... but then it slowly fades until another takes its place.

The absolute seamlesness of the mixes is what makes the whole experience even more brooding and enjoyable. With some dj's I am able to mentally envision them turning the knobs and sliding the sliders during mixes, (they are so obvious and cliche) but not with Hernan. They are more like just another part in the music - they are that smooth. It's as if the tracks were written to flow into each other.
