In the late 80's, Jason joined David Gray to form the satanic metalband Salem Orchid (the previous incarnation of Akercocke).
The band fell apart in the early 90s. At this point Jason moved to North London where he gained an interest in purely electronic music and put out records as part of Disciples of Belial and Lorenz Attractor.
He slowly moved back into satanic metal sounds around '95/'96 when he met up with David again. Soon after Akercocke was born.
Originator of the infamous VFM parties in the UK.
