Born on July 16, 1941 in Tylża (in 1946 Soviet authorities changed the name of the city to Sovetsk). Vocalist and guitarist. He also taught guitar, double bass and bass guitar to some of his fellow musicians, including: Marek Zarzycki with whom he founded the band Kawalerowie, or Tomasz Jaśkiewicz and [Invalid Artist], musicians of the band Chochoły, and later Akwarele. Unofficially called as a "Father of Warsaw rock and roll".
