Romanian well known singer born in Pănceşti, Bacău County, April 4th, 1927 and passed away October 4th, 1994, Bucureşti.
He lived in Letea Factory villas . He did all sports, was including football goalkeeper Letea Factory. Father (Silvestru Ionescu) worked at Letea Factory, mother (Emilia Ionescu) was a housewife.
There were three brothers, Luigi, Elena, and Marcela.
