Monica Lewis

American jazz singer and actress. Born May 5, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois, USA and died June 12, 2015 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Daughter of pianist Leon Lewis.
Her father, Leon, was a concert pianist and former music director of CBS. Her mother, Jessica, sang leading roles with the Chicago Opera Co. and was also a vocal coach.
She charted solo once with "Midnight Masquerade" in 1947, which hit #16 in the U.S. and with The Ames Brothers "A Tree in the Meadow" which earned #21 in 1948.
