One Minute Silence

Profile:

Irish four-piece alternative rock/nu metal band based in London, England, originally formed in the early 1990s by Brian Barry and Chris Ignatiou as Near Death Experience. Soon after settling on a lineup that also included Glen Diani and Edddie Stratton they were forced to change their name due to a conflict with an American band with the same name.

They signed a contract with Big Cat Records in 1997, released their debut album Available In All Colours the following year.

After this Ignatiou left the group and was replaced by Kee Payne who left the band in 1999 and was then replaced by Massimo Fiocco. In
2000 they released their second album Buy Now... Saved Later.

After signing with Taste Media they began recording their third album, One Lie Fits All that was eventually released in July of 2003.

Barry appeared on the BBC Radio 4 show Bespoken Word in October of 2003 announcing the band's split. Barry began performing poetry and spoken word before forming Pink Punk (of which Fiocco is also a member) and Stratton joined New Disease.

In May of 2010 Barry, Diani and Fiocco began recording new material with new drummer Martin Davies. In January of 2011 the band officially announced their reformation.
