Pascal (2)

Swedish music group from Gotland consisting of Manuela De Gouveia (vocals, bass), Mimmi Skog (drums) and Isak Sundström (vocals, guitar).

Their music has been categorized as garage rock. Pascal was formed in February 2005. The band toured in 2009 together with Bob Hund.

Pascal has been compared to bands such as The Jesus and Mary Chain, Joy Division, Ebba Grön and above all The Cramps, for whom they also acted as support during their Sweden gig in 2006. But Pascal's Swedish lyrics, dirty sound, screaming choruses and fondness for stuffed animals make them to something incomparable.

The band has done a number of covers, including Judas Priest's "Painkiller", Kal P. Dal's "Jonnie", Bruce Springsteen's "Hungry Heart" and Peter LeMarc's "Håll om mej!".
