Argentinian Heavy metal & Hard rock band founded by Pappo in 1980.
The classic line-up included Pappo (lead guitar, lead vocals), Boff Serafine (rhythm guitar), Vitico (bass, vocals) and Michel Peyronel (drums, vocals).
They disbanded in 1983, returning in 1985 with Oscar Moro on drums and JAF (Juan Antonio Ferreyra) on rhythm guitar and vocals, though they disbanded again one year later.
They came back in 1990 with the classic line-up.
Riff disbanded definitively after Pappo's death, in 2005.
In 2019, Luciano Napolitano (Pappo's son) made a reunion with Vitico and JAF, plus Juan Mor in drums and Nicolas Bereciartua in guitars from 2018 to 2019. JAF would leave again and Boff Serafine will join in 2019. The future of Riff is unknown after Luciano was released from jail.
