American actress, dancer and singer.

Died 4 November 2005 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
North began a dancing career at age 10 with USO shows during World War II. By age 13, she performed in Hollywood musical shows and Earl Carroll’s variety shows.
Best-known in later years for her prolific television work. She appeared onstage in such musicals as "Can-Can", "Irma La Douce", and "Bye Bye Birdie".
