Trey Spruance was the guitarist and one of the main songwriters for Mr. Bungle, a band he formed with Trevor Dunn and Mike Patton in Eureka, CA in 1985. Currently, his focus is Secret Chiefs 3, for which he serves as composer and multi-instrumentalist. He also played guitar in the drone-doom act Asva.
