The label was created in 1948 by Swedish Telefunken Försäljnings AB to be able to sell older Telefunken records, since the Telefunken label was banned after the war. In 1953 Telefunken was again able to sell under their own label and Telefunken Försäljnings AB also bought the label Musica (2) from SATT (Svenska AB Trådlös Telegrafi), the earlier Swedish Telefunken representative.
