Series of CD-compilations, given away as supplement of French music magazine Les Inrockuptibles. The issues are housed in a simple paper sleeve. The first issue under this name appeared in summer 2002 with magazine #347 and was still part of another series called "Les Inrockuptibles présentent".
The translation of the series name is "Soundtrack of...", and thus, the objective of the series was to create a soundtrack for a certain time period. While in the beginning of its history, the issues came irregularly and were fist limited to summer (été), starting from around 2010, the issues became more regular, with a similar artwork and mainly yearly issued. Later, around 2017 yearly and quarterly issues were published and a very unique design for quarterly issues was developed.
The last issue for the present was issued in May 2021 with magazine #1328 and currently it looks, as if the series was discontinued then.
