| Profile: | Danish label founded by Jens Ove Friis in 1999 as a division of CMC Entertainment, as a more rock oriented counterpart to CMC. CMC was acquired by EMI in 1997, but Jens Ove Friis acquired RecArt in 2001 with distribution by EMI. In 2004 it became part of holding company MBO Group. In 2011 MBO was acquired by Universal Music. Jens Ove Friis left RecArt in 2012 and founded REO Records (3) in 2013. |
