Ariola Super Sound Singles (600/1/2 nnn)

In 1978, Ariola and affiliated labels introduced a new numbering format to distinguish the various formats better.

10n nnn was used for 7" singles
60n nnn was used for 12"singles
20n nnn was used for single LPs
30n nnn was used for double LPs and box sets
40n nnn was used for cassettes

And in 1983, 610 nnn was used for CDs

This numbering scheme was modified at the end of 1985:

- 12" singles no longer had a sequential numbering, but it was derived from the single. If the single had 108 123, then the 12" had 608 123.
- CD singles (multitrack) received 658 123 and two-track versions received 158 123.
- CDs received a similar number; if the LP were 208 123, then the CD became 258 123.

This list contains all Ariola-released 12" singles up till that moment.
