SELECTED COVER TRACKS OF ITALO-DISCO

When a song or a track leaves a big imprint on listeners, whether on account of a nice melody or catchy or harmonious instrumental accompaniments or both, it becomes an earworm, something we're hardly able to forget within a short period of time. And when time has passed, over the years, some well-intentioned people feel the need to resurrect what has been gone by adding their personal touch to the track that impressed so much at the time of release. As to these original releases we don't necessarily speak here only about super hits aired by every radio station 50 times a day. No indeed, because if Italo-Disco had its own share of "commercial" hits back then, tracks we could enjoy on the waves on a daily basis alongside others from other musical styles, some of the original versions which gave rise to the following covers were not very well-known while some were of course popular but in a different genre.
Anyway, the pages hereafter try to focus on the most representative and interesting cover versions pertaining to Italo-Disco, some sung in another tongue, some even better and more expensive than the originals!....
Be it said the ones concerned here are only 12" records (though a few of them, with 7" as well, are included in the other list "Sunshine, Fun, Latin & Tropical Vibes" when their composition answers to the thematic nature of this list).
Comments and new developments are added when time permits.
