THIS MUSIC IS as sweeping and vast as the land it comes from. Not since "The Law Of Things" have I been so excited about a BATS record. The delicately crafted emotionally choreographed songs fronted by Robert Scott's vocals/guitars and occasionally Kaye Woodward's, are a joy to listen to. All sorts of subtle nuances and progressions make this disc a well worn wonder in my deck. "Afternoon In Bed" has a great bass hook and chorus and "Work It Out" has a hauntingly cool slide guitar swirling around in it that makes you feel good about music again.
