Chill and smart hip hop album! Seems to be quite underground 'til today! Last track 'La Solidarité Noire' is important for the participation of following names.. . . . Doudou Masta, EJM, Hamed Däye, Lamifa, Les Sages Poetes De La Rue, Ludovic, Nemesis, Olivier, Passi, Peeda, Stomy Bugsy ;; ; ;; Recommanded album not specially for themes explored but for the way songs are built, music style (exotic due to guitar use + samples) and quality: a funny parisian exploration! Remember the camera from 'La Haine' movie traveling between Cut Killer's window to the other buildings and sky... Now imagine the camera continues and keeps filming going to studios, radios, street and cliques' hang out places. This is how it goes, with a sunny fresh air and lot of people moving their hands/heads dressed with nice clothes, as 'Tout Simplement Noir' keeps the imagerie of finest chic parisian style, whatever if it comes from banlieues or rive gauche... Or however if we talk about music, style or lyrics... We are in a hot parisian summer, following the band and having fun with them, as you will by checking the funniest intros you can get in albums from those years! Review by La Solidarité Du Groove/Les Textes Solides!
