After great debut, Possessed realised Beyond the gates album with mixed critics.I love the album but it has it flaws.
First five songs are really good but from there the album go monotonous till the end.
Album is very different in comparation with Seven churches,more thrashy and lighter.I don't have problem with that at all, but whole LP is uneven and production is kinda blend.
Anyway,I still see this as a great record worth listening.
CD also included The eyes of horror EP realised in 1987.That was the last recording of Possessed before disbanding,and what fabulous ending.All five songs are top class of thrash metal.Pure brilliance for the end.
Favorites: March to die,The eyes of horror,Swing of the axe, My belief.
Highly recommend.

Back On Black are true to their fame. One more senseless eye-candy here. Flat and dull sound. No punch nor clarity. Avoid it.

I was about to add this, how come ctrl+f didn't find it as I entered the catalogue number? Weird. Excellent remaster, the best part is the final (everything else is just demos and even one of the two LP's repackaged) offer from Possessed, The Eyes of Horror EP is excellent and the remaster makes a favourite of mine "My Belief" sound twice as good as the original on CD, I need to get the remaster reissue on vinyl of just that EP from 2019 on High Roller Records, unless someone knows that they are the same remaster, which is possible, all released in 2019, except HRR didn't do a CD version and they usually do.
